What I am Reading:

I got back from Shambhala Mountain Center the beginning of this month, and got so busy crocheting and doing god knows what else, that I never finished reading Turning the Mind into an Ally! So I am working hard on finishing it now! I still need to get a cushion to meditate on, but that is another story entirely.

Walter Bishop from Fox's TV show Fringe. I love him in a very different way than I love Richard Castle, obviously. Walter is just so sweet and different. I want to hug him. The end of the first episode of this season almost made me cry he was so sweet.

Aaaand, grand finale, this ADORABLE octopus sculpture. If it cost just a little bit less I would have already bought this for Adrianne for Christmas :)

A Fair to Remember

So, the fair went okay. I sold enough to pay back the booth fee, plus like $25 bucks. In retrospect, North Beach is not the kind of place where people have money to throw around. It was definitely a learning experience, and I met a bunch of people who loved my stuff!! That was exciting. And lots of people took business cards :)

Oh, and note to self - bring sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat with a brim regardless of weather forecasts.

Panduhmonium turned her print into cards, and as promised (and now that something in my shop FINALLY sold) I bought a 6 pack of them!!! Sooooo exciting!

Blog Change

Hey, so I have edited the HTML of my blog a little bit. Let me know if you hate it, I can (I hope...) change it back. I just didn't like that pictures etc. kept getting cut off, so I made it so that the width of the posts changes to fit the width of the window, so that no matter how big your window is, you still see the whole picture. Anyway, feedback would be appreciated :)

Today I have decided to share with you some of the wonderful things the internet has offered me over the last year or two :)

Chemical Free Makeup

Parabens are really starting to freak me out, because of all the cancer stuff (watch out, it's even in your sunscreen!) so I've decided that I need to buy some organic makeup, and look at all he wonderful stuff I found!

For some reason I loooove blue eyeliner and that's what I wear whenever I put on eyeliner, and I found some without parabens! Yay!

Now I just have to get myself over to Sephora!
